Hi Folks!

We have reached Florida by bout 1.30 on 5th after noon. Mr.Vaideeswaran and Padma, were waiting for us. We were very happy to see them.

The first thing it hit me was weather. The weather was fantastic! It is very sunny, and pleasant. And wherever you look, you see greenery. While coming to the house I felt we were driving in India especially Bangalore.

We have reached the house. And Padma and Vaideeswaran gave us a tour of their lovely house. The house is simply superb. The interior decoration and especially the location of the house is fantastic. The most impressive thing about the house is, there is a stream flowing behind their house, and as the house has a verandah, like our old houses, we can sit and enjoy the weather as well as the boats going through the lake.

We had gone for a walk just to enjoy the weather. After a long time it was the first time I had gone out without wearing any swatter to protect myself from cold! it was wonderful feeling of freedom! It is great!

You know when God has given us such a good weather in India , we take it for granted. But now I have realized how lucky we are, because God has given us a chance to live in warm weather through out the year!

Second day in Miami, we have enjoyed our morning walk and then after we had our break-fast we have started on our tour! First we have gone to see the ships which were sitting at the shore. Three ships which go to Bahamas were on berths! So we had taken some photographs, and then we moved on to another place where we can see the ships from a closer distance. There Mr. Vaideeswaran found about the availability of Helicopter rides. So he wanted us to go on those rides. So along with Ram and myself and Padma agreed to go. When we have reached the helicopter, I was little apprehensive, but I could not tell them that! So I have entered the helicopter, and the Pilot gave us head phones so that we can hear him while he takes us on tour! He started the helicopter and when he was taking us into sky, I was terrified! But when I saw Padma who was sitting besides me, was coolly recording the video; I felt a little ashamed of myself and relaxed.

I saw what Ram was doing, and found out that instead of looking out, he was watching the pilot, and how the pilot was driving the helicopter. Any way then I started enjoying the ride. The view from the sky was fantastic. We have seen the islands, Miami Beach and the down town from the sky. It was a great experience and beautiful experience.

Then we proceeded to Miami Beach. When we reached the beach, we have parked the car on a near by street and started walking towards the beach. I saw people walking freely, without shirts, and wearing shorts like in Rameswram.I thought it was a familiar site! Then we reached the beach! Wow! What a wonderful site! The sand was white and clean ! Even though it was twelve in the after noon, and the sun was high but it was not hot at all! Very pleasant, the wind was good, not much humid. I have removed my cheppal and walked into the waters. Ram was very much tempted to go in to the water, but as he was not having his swim suit with him so he could not go! I have enjoyed the warm waters of Atlantic Ocean . Then when I have come back to the banks I have found the scenery on the beach was just like in M TV, and Bay watch! My self and Padma were not knowing where to see.

Mr. Vaideeswran and Ram were wearing black glasses, so we did not know where they were looking at !

Then we have proceeded to GatorPark! When we have reached GatorPark I have seen first, beautiful parrots. Even though we see parrots in India; these parrots were entirely deferent and very beautiful. Then we have decided to go on air boat ride to see the Alligators! So we have gone on a motor boat where the driver was our guide. The boat ride itself was very much exciting! Then while in the water we saw crocodiles. I was a little bit surprised, because we were supposed to see Alligator, but we were seeing crocodiles. Then I asked Ram what was the deference between crocodiles and Alligator. He explained it to me that the mouth of crocodiles is long; where as the mouth of Alligator is short.

Then we have seen various types of birds, fishes and the experience is exhilarating! We have enjoyed it very much! Then after the air boat ride there was a small stall where a guide explained about Alligator, and a small Alligator was given in hand whoever wants to touch it. Ram took an Alligator into his hands, andI have told him he had to take a Ganga snanam to purify himself from touching non-veg. You know why I said this; there was a restaurant in the park, where they were selling, gator tail sand witch, Fried Gator tail, smoked Alligator sausage, Fried gator platter!

The next day we were leaving for Orlando to see Disney World, etc. So wait for more form Florida!
