It was in 2006 we went to Mount Kailash -Manas Sarovar tour. It was wonderful experience and I loved every minute of my tour. Inspired by the pleasure I have experienced from the Parikrama of Mount Kailash, I thought I can easily climb Mount Everest.
But to climb Mount Everest there were so many hurdles like taking the permission from the government etc. And in the meanwhile I have moved to US. So I thought in US there are no restrictions for enjoying the trekking let me have the pleasure.
The Best trekking in US is Oregon’s highest peak Mount hood.
I wanted to reach the snowy mountain peak and my husband was against it.
Some how I was able to convince him and we went on the trek. It was 10am, there was not a single soul on sight . The cold winds were blowing at high speed. I wanted to rest for some time and we found a cave .
We went inside , rested for some time had some hot coffee and were about to come out of the cave, suddenly we were surrounded by a group of tigers.
My husband said just stand still so that they think we are part of the cave rocks. ( I have remembered the Dog stories of Keshav)
I became statue with shock .We were standing there for 30min and the tigers slowly went to sleep.
Without making noise we left the cave promising my husband no more trekking vacations.
But one tiger followed us and I am posting the video of it. She was playing in my backyard. Now it has become my time pass companion.

Hey Indu,
. But the best solution would have been offering them some coffee you were having
how did you forget me? you could have contacted me from there and i would have made the tigers still with my remote operation

Hey that’s fun isn’t it? You know what, I was addicted to M&B for a long time. In one of the books, there was white lion . I was so young at that time I did not understand whether the use of the white lion was metaphorical or they were part of the snow mountains. Till now I have not forgotten that fascination of white lion in snowy mountains. And it became my tall story.
I am glad it reminded you of your vacation in the mountains.

Hey Indu,
Grrrrrr!
You fooled me! I had your page open and came back to read after 2 hours. In the meantime, I forgot the title 'tallest tale'. I believed you since you came so close to home....Mt. Hood, and went trekking there. We skied there last year bruising our egos and butts at the same time.
Then I read 'tigers' and realized something was fishy because there are no tigers in this regions. May be mountain lions, but no white tigers. But you still gave me a scare. Just as I was swearing never to go to Mt. Hood again, I realized I was hood-winked!
