Dear INDU3,
By inviting well known bloggers and asking them to comment on the different facets of woman's empowerment  you have covered almost all that a woman would have  wanted to become or clear the blocks that  impede their progress and emancipation in our society .From Rajkumari Amrit kaur and Lakshmi Shegal who entered the pages of history  to Indira Gandhi  and Prathiba Patil and Mayawathi who have made it to the top rungs of the government,  and to be able to claim that the likes of Indra Nooyi and  Mallika Srinivasan who are no smaller in the corporate ladder is an acknowledgement that the Indian public have come  of age and the day is not far off when another Kalpana Chawla will be on the driving seat for the inter-planetary travel !. You have made them fit for the long voyage and I am sure every Indian will  appreciate the effort !

I agree with you Ranjini. When there is no safety, it is not easy to work.
As you have said rightly, hopefully they hold the company responsible so that it will be a warning to other companies.
